Malibu Apothecary

Malibu Apothecary was founded from a love of travel, fragrance, and the sea. Inspired by time spent along the Côte d’Azur and a formative perfumery course in Grasse, France, the brand began with a desire to capture the memories and atmosphere of coastal destinations through scent.

While sourcing ingredients, the founder discovered the widespread use of toxic materials hidden within the candle industry, inspiring a different approach to home fragrance. Launched in 2019 from a small Southern California apartment, Malibu Apothecary creates clean, non-toxic candles and fragrances inspired by beaches around the world. Today, the brand continues to craft coastal scents while supporting conservation efforts and partnering with destinations and hotels to bring a sense of place into everyday rituals.
