Where is Toilètte made?
Toilètte’s bamboo is sourced from Sichuan, China, where it grows abundantly, without chemicals, on small scale farms. Our partnerships support rural cooperatives, and all bamboo is FSC certified for responsible, sustainable harvesting.
We chose to produce in China because it’s where bamboo thrives naturally and can be cultivated most efficiently. Even with ocean freight, this remains the most environmentally effective way to make our product.
Conventional toilet paper contributes to the degradation of the Boreal Forest, one of the planet’s most vital carbon sinks. Preserving it is not optional, it’s essential.
